Visual Merchandising (VMD) Supervisor

We are seeking a creative and highly organized Visual Merchandising (VMD) Supervisor to elevate the instore experience across all our directly-operated retail shops. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing store styling, windows, and product placement, with a strong focus on creating captivating displays for female-targeted products.

You will act as a creative supervisor, managing the overall store design, interior decoration, and aesthetics to ensure they align perfectly with our brand guidelines. By transforming our retail spaces into visually stunning environments, you will drive customer engagement, foot traffic, and sales.

1. Job Description

Visual Merchandising & Store Decoration

• Conceptualize, design, and execute high-quality visual merchandising displays, window setups, and instore layouts for directly-operated stores.

• Specialize in styling and displaying female-targeted merchandise (e.g., Sonny Angel, SMISKI, collectible items), utilizing creative color coordination, props, and lighting to appeal to the target demographic.

• Develop and implementation seasonal decoration themes and promotional layout plans across the retail chain.

Store Design Supervision & Guidelines

• Supervise and maintain the overall store interior design and spatial layouts to maximize product visibility and optimize customer shopping flow.

• Create and distribute comprehensive VMD guidelines and toolkits to ensure brand consistency across all locations.

• Review and approve proposed store design modifications, fixture installations, and large-scale promotional display structures.

Training & Store Support

• Conduct regular store visits to audit display standards, providing hands-on feedback and rectifying any VMD deviations.

• Train and mentor store staff and retail teams on basic visual merchandising techniques, maintenance of displays, and brand presentation standards.

• Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Product Procurement, and Store Operations teams to align visual setups with upcoming product launches and campaigns.

  
  

2. Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably within female-focused retail sectors (e.g., women's fashion, beauty/cosmetics, luxury goods, or lifestyle concepts).

• Proven experience in a supervisory or senior capacity, managing multiple store aesthetics and design projects.

• A strong, diverse VMD portfolio showcasing window displays, instore zoning, and creative decorations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong artistic sense with an advanced understanding of color theory, spatial design, and commercial trends targeting female consumers.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide store staff and collaborate effectively with cross-functional corporate teams.

• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCad) is highly preferred for spatial planning and store visualization.

• Ability to work flexible hours for overnight or early morning store setups during floor changes or renewals.

• Complete two-day weekend

5. Salary and Benefits

• Total salary: 15 million VND and above

• Lunch and commuting allowances

• Salary increase and bonuses: Generally once a year, 13-month salary, performance bonuses
