Producer of Pokemon Mezastar / Japanese speaking skills required (Business Level)

We are seeking a dynamic and highly capable Country Producer / Project Manager to spearhead the business operations and expansion of Pokémon MEZASTAR in Vietnam. Acting as the official distributor, you will oversee all aspects of the business in the local market.

A critical requirement for this role is native-level or business-fluent Japanese, as you will serve as the primary liaison, interacting and negotiating directly with the Japanese manufacturer and IP holders. You will be fully responsible for driving the project's success through strategic promotional planning, revenue management, location development, and comprehensive store operations support.

1. Job Description (業務内容)

Licensor & Manufacturer Liaison (Japanese Communication)

• Act as the primary point of contact for the Japanese manufacturer and IP stakeholders, conducting all business meetings, updates, and negotiations directly in Japanese.

• Ensure all local operational, marketing, and product compliance measures align with the Japanese partner's strict brand guidelines and approval processes.

  
  

Promotional Planning & Execution

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and promotional strategies to maximize player engagement and machine utilization across Vietnam.

• Plan and organize periodic in-store events, tournaments, and campaign distributions (e.g., special promotional Meza Tags) to drive traffic.

  
  

Revenue Management & Location Development

• Manage the overall P&L (Profit and Loss), sales targets, and financial performance of the Pokémon MEZASTAR business in Vietnam.

• Lead location development initiatives by identifying and securing high-traffic spots (e.g., shopping malls, amusement centers, arcades) to expand the machine network.

• Analyze daily/weekly/monthly operational data to optimize machine placements and hardware/software updates.

  
  

Store Operations & Support

• Provide end-to-end support to retail stores and amusement centers operating the machines, ensuring smooth daily operations.

• Coordinate logistics, inventory management (game tokens/tags), and technical troubleshooting support between the local team and retail partners.

  
  

2. Application Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of project management, business development, or brand management experience (Experience in the amusement, gaming, toy, or entertainment industry is highly preferred).

• Proven track record of managing end-to-end business operations as a distributor or local representative.

Language Skills (Mandatory)

• Japanese: Fluent / Business to Native level (JLPT N2 equivalent or higher). Must be able to conduct business meetings, write official emails, and negotiate complex terms in Japanese.

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to handle multi-tasking across marketing, sales, and operations independently.

• Deep understanding of or a strong passion for Pokémon and the arcade/amusement gaming industry.

5. Salary and Benefits

• Total salary: 15 million VND and above

• Lunch and commuting allowances

• Salary increase and bonuses: Generally once a year, 13 months' salary, performance bonuses
